We went on the internet to search for a inspector and we are very happy we choose Scott. The firstinspection save us from buying what would have mostly likely not be a good buy. The second time around i was confident that he was satisfied with the house .He is very thorough,professional knowledge and personable.He explains in simple terms as he checks everything and encourages you to ask questions as he proceed with the inspection.The written structured,detailed report provides all the information you need. Scott was recommended by a friend to inspect a house we were considering. Since we were out of state, and didn't know the area we were hoping he was the right person. That he was! He responded quickly to a text message (on a weekend) and reserved some time for the inspection until we could get our plane tickets. His knowledge and experience was immediately evident and he was able to evaluate all facets of the older home we were considering including the surrounding grounds, trees and vegetation that was affecting the house.The report he generates is very professional and the photos of the issues (good and bad) are very useful to make a determination of the condition of the property and the repairs that are needed. He was also willing to quickly respond to additional questions that have come up. We couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the report and the service he provides.

Scott did an excellent job with our home inspection. His report is professionally done, fast, very thorough and informative for us. I really appreciate his willingness to allow me to tag along and ask many questions. I learned a great deal as we walked through every inch of the house. Working with him made us a lot more comfortable investing in the home. Thanks to his report, we have a much clearer picture of what we are buying and have very concrete information on what we should invest in both short and long term after closing. The last time we bought a house was literally 50 years ago in Ulster County. We were delighted when our son shared with us that he and his wife had decided to move back to New York with our two grandchildren. Suddenly we were tasked to help them find a home.Honestly, when it came time for the inspection, we had our fingers crossed and were imagining all kinds of catastrophes based on the stories we had heard over the years. From the moment we got out of our car and met Mike, our fears and worries disappeared.We immediately knew by his welcoming and professional demeanor that we were in good hands.We accompanied him throughout his inspection and took notes on his continuous, understandable suggestions and comments on recommended specific repairs and additions and overall impressions of the house. We are extremely happy with Scott from Centininspectors. He is very knowledgeable about home inspections. We never felt rushed and in fact he took his time to answer all of the questions that we had during the inspection. The inspection was thorough, and his findings were reasonable.
